    I can has PS3?!

    Finally picked one of these badboys up with the recent announcement of Blu-Ray winning the format war. It's not a bad system at all, I just wish there were more games out. It's quiet as fuck, has more functionality than the 360 (except it's not nearly as user friendly yet), free online, blu-ray and kickass upconverting on normal dvds and the option to easily put in a new harddrive. Picked up Uncharted, Eye of Judgement, Motorstorm and Ratchet and Clank.

    Uncharted is fucking dope as hell and has some of the best animated cutscenes in a game so far.

    Eye of Judgement is fun as hell if you like CCG games, and the function of using the camera with the cards is too fucking cool. I just wish the computer didn't kick my ass eveytime.

    Motorstorm is fucking hard for me at the moment, but has some crazy fucking races. I really like the fact that your cars/bikes/ATV's leave divits in the track that last and get worse as the race goes on. I've gotten fucked a few times because of that.

    Ratchet and Clank is pretty fucking fun. Standard platformer/shooter with some gorgeous fucking graphics and great sound design.

    The only thing that I think is wierd so far (and it doesn't really bother me yet as I dont' have a 1080p tv) is that every game I own only goes up to 720p. Otherwise, it's a sweet little system and I cannot wait for HOME, Little Big Planet and MGS4 to come out.

    think the only game out so far that utilizes 1080p is COD4. Not to sure Devil May Cry 4 does or not but pretty sure it doesnt.

        Finally beat Uncharted the other night. Fantastic little game. Totally digging on Folding@Home even though it's not a game. And really love the whole mouse/keyboard hookup I gots going.

          have you checked out any of the psn games? the best ones are super stardust hd, everyday shooter, and pixeljunk monsters. i've been digging pixeljunk monsters. it's rather addictive.

            I played that (Pixel) for a few minutes the other day, seems kinda cool. I just downloaded the demo for Super Stardust and enjoyed it a bit. Haven't checked out everyday shooter. Is it like Geometry Wars at all?

              the controls aren't as good as geometry wars but the game is freaking awesome. there's unlockables, and it's like a musical shooter. like hd-rez on xbla. i enjoyed it. until pixeljunk came out.

                    i plan on getting a rumbler as well but the ps3 controller feels weird after using the 360 with its trigger buttons.

                    ari, i expect you to post "i has ps3" soon after hooking you up with that site. what are you waiting for?

                        well you should, if you haven't already, be getting your tax return (unless you owe) and your "stimulus check" which is really an advance on your tax return next year. so subtract whatever you usually get from your tax return from the amount you'll get from the "stimulus check." it would be in your best interest for you and sarah, financially speaking, if you guys got "married" this year, so that you can file for your credit on top of your "return."

                        there i just helped give you ideas on how to get monies. now stop being a noob and get married and buy that ps3. and also, if you guys did get "married" this year, i would come down for that. otherwise you might not see me until possibly next year.

                            Shit, now Little Big Planet is coming for the PSP it sounds like.

                            The PS3 is fucking dope, I just wish they'd get their ass in gear in regards to HOME and XMB.

                              ehh home and xmb isn't that big of a deal for me. i don't NEED ps3 to be more like my 360. the only reason why i even usually get games on the 360 that are multiplatform is because all my friends play the ps3. if someone else... say ari, for instance, picked up a ps3 and played it a lot more often, i too would be playing more ps3 and buying more ps3 games. oh well though. the only thing i just can't wait for is littlebigplanet. oh gosh does that game look fun. ari, i expect you to pick one up by the time that game comes out.
