Lair of the Shadow Broker is hands down the best DLC offering.

You get an epic Blade Runner chase and get to ice an ugly motherfucker that looks like a cross between a piranha and a krogan.

The bonuses after finishing it are entertaining AND useful.

Just finished the main mission. I am in love with what you get after you are done.

I am also glad that I was able to wrap up the romance with T'Sani. She was my paramour from ME1, and it was cool that they let the romance line go all the way to its conclusion. What I wasn't impressed with though is that they made it seem like I was gonna have a long-distance relationship with her, but after she comes and visits you on the Normandy, she doesn't actually talk to you anymore if you go back to her ship

I fucking love that her station is essentially a quest hub. I watched all of the video archives, and put money into all of the investment ops. The surveying for resources on planets were a little off. The Element Zero one gave me SOME ezo, but mostly lots of other stuff. I have to "come back tomorrow" to see the results of my covert ops. Also, apparently all of the weapon and ability upgrades can go as high as 6/6 now.

I also love that they continued the story after you defeat the collectors. The shadow broker acknowledges this before you fight, as does T'Sani. I like that she is now a major character in the game and I am excited for the next DLC.

Having said all this, I am not sure this was worth $10.00. The mission was damned cool, but really freaking short overall. The graphics were beautiful, and I continue to be impressed with what they are able to do with this game engine. Running around on the outside of the shadow broker's ship was fucking awesome and atmospheric.

Yeah, the brevity of it all makes the price point a bit steep.

If you can hold out like the great frugal molemen of yesteryear, I'd say do that.

But if you need a Mass Erect fix, this is the one to pick up.

Also: the outer ship area was insane.

I downloaded this for free the other night (as a purchaser of Dragon Age II, we were given a code for it) and started to play it. It's frickin' clunky as hell on the PC, so that kinda turned me off on it. I'll try it again this weekend to see if I can get into it or not.

But that's a shame it's clunky on a pc. It's great on the console.

I'm not real big on HIT SHIFT+F THEN W, move your mouse, SPACE SPACE SHIFT+F and all that shit. On an Xbox 360 controller, it's not an issue...on a computer keyboard, I hate it.

Sucks cause that game would probably look fucking AMAZING on a decent rig.

it DID look cool. Playing through the opening sequence where the Normandy blows up? Yeah, that was pretty sweet.

Again, I'm going to try and figure out something with the keyboard. If I can get the keybindings setup in a way that doesn't piss me off, then I'll probably play the game and enjoy it. If I end up getting frustrated, I'll probably uninstall it and buy the damned thing for my 360.

I picked up a wireless one for my pc for like 40 bucks. Totes worth it. Especially during Steam sales when most are console ports.
