Right under the planet's name, there is a status that usually goes from (going from memory here, could be wrong on some of the words) Rich>Moderate>Average>Poor>Depleted. A planet can be at any level, but obviously when you've depleted it you're done.

And fuck the elevators. FUCK THEM. I'm also so happy that I don't accidentally enter conversations with squad mates every three minutes.

Also, I must be the only one that misses the elevator load screens. I know people bitched and moaned about them in the first one, but seeing a loading screen everytime I go somewhere new on my ship annoys the piss outta me.

I started a vanguard, didn't dig it and remade my Shep as a soldier...and realized that his hair is the wrong color. FUCK YOU DARK CHARACTER CREATOR SCREEN.

I'm currently a Vanguard. I'm not sure if I dig it yet, but figure I'll just go through it again as a different class once I'm done. I do like the charge move coupled with my kickass shotty.

I died like 12 times in the first big battle with the vorcha heading for the doctor. As the soldier I concussive shot and sniped my way to victory on first attempt.

I've died a few times, but mostly because I wasn't using tactics properly. Speaking of which, they really fixed pretty much every issue I had with the original.

I can't even think of what else is coming out that is a solid competitor for GOTY right now, granted it's still only fucking January.

White Knight Chronicles - JRPG, will be what it is, but not GOTY.
Splinter Cell - Could still shit the bed, or be a top 5 game.
Spec Ops: The Line - Way too little known about this yet.
God of War 3 - No way it's more than a top 10, not enough depth.
Shit I can't even think of anything else coming out this year.
