I guess fiasco was the wrong word. What I meant to say was "The Shadows of the Empire whore fest" where a subpar book got videogames, comic books, legos, toys, soundtracks, etc etc.

The Force Unleashed looks like a fun game, but do we really need Lego's about it?

Shadow of the Empire was everywhere in the late 90's. The book, comics, videogame, and toys rampaged throughout the world, destroying all in it's path. I remember liking the book and a few levels of the videogame. But Force Unleashed looks like Shadow all over again.

I took my kids to Legoland like two weeks ago. They have the ultimate fucking lego store. I was going to buy the falcon, when I saw that price tag, I said "they're fucking crazy". A small set is like $10 and medium is $30-50...what the fuck.

but it's FIVE THOUSAND pieces! in lego terms, that's a lot! actually, in any terms, it's a lot. but still! that kind of "project" could take you days, maybe even a few weeks. imagine all the fun you'd have while building it. can't imagine? how's this? it's $500 worth of fun in a box. you can't get that anywhere else. maybe other than ps3. but then you'd also have to consider games and movies and then it wouldn't really be a total of $500 in the end.
