We have discussed this. Texas Chili has no beans. Other chili does. Other chili is an ungodly abomination. Also, anyone from Texas putting beans in their chili can kindly gtfo of Tejas.

I don't get the hate. Without beans all you're left with is meat and assorted peppers right? SHARE YOUR ABOMINATION RECIPE WITH THE CLASS.

I have shared it. You were not paying attention in class! Now write "NO BEANS IN CHILI" a million times on the blackboard.

Also, I am going to wear a teddy and leggings while you do it to totally fuck up any teacher fantasies.

          Vin's Chili Macabre

          1/3 cup lard
4 lbs. beef chuck, cut into 1/2" cubes
          1 large onion, chopped
          3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 cans (4 oz.) whole green chiles cut into strips
8 Serrano peppers, seeded and chopped
2 (10 oz) cans tomatillos or 3 cups of cut-up fresh tomatillos (about 10)
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
          12 oz. Guinnessâ„¢
1-1/2 cups beef stock or canned beef broth
1/3 cup chopped fresh coriander or 1-1/2 tsp ground coriander
5 tsp. crushed cumin seeds or ground cumin
          1-1/2 tsp. salt
          1/2 tsp ground black pepper
          1/4 cup cornmeal

1: Heat lard in skillet. Add meat about 1 lb at a time, removing after each lb. is browned.

2: After all beef is browned, put onions and garlic in pan and cook until soft.

3: Place beef and onions in Crock Potâ„¢.

4: Add peppers, tomatillos, tomato paste, beef stock, beer, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 3-4 hrs. Around 30 min. before serving, stir in the cornmeal to thicken the chili.

          5: Nom.

            NICE.

I always had beans. I'll try without, but to me it's sounds like a Mexican Spaghetti meat sauce.

I think it works better without beans... but that's because I usually eat my chili over rice or cornbread.

Throw some jalapenos in it. That'll make it more better.

I'm really only a fan of turkey chili. I just really don't like chili very much.
