            • There's no such thing as awesome salmon if it's cooked. Put it in some rice and seaweed wrap and hand it over raw, and then we're talking!

                • I'm at the point where I can pretty much enjoy salmon in any form...just no teriyaki. I will ready your salmon patty recipe with great interest.

                      I'm just teasing' ya! There are certain foods that I love raw but hate cooked - salmon does happens to be one of them, but a lot of veggies too. I hate cooked celery and carrots.

                              • Indian Mee Goreng

                                Yeah, indian, cause there's a chinese version from the chinese-malaysians and one from the indian-malay.




                                Ingredients:
                                Vegetable or peanut oil
                                2 cloves garlic (chopped)
                                3 tablespoons of sambal olek (or sriracha)
                                1 lb of Yellow Noodles (or spaghetti, cooked) (rinsed)
                                3 pieces of dried or fried tofu (cut into 1/2 inche pieces)
                                1 potato (boiled, peeled, and sliced)
                                2 eggs
                                a good cup of shrimp
                                1 cup of chicken pieces, cooked
                                A handful of bean sprouts
                                1/2 cup of cabbage
                                1 lime (cut into wedges)

                                Sauce:
                                2 tablespoon of soy sauce
                                2 tablespoon of dark soy sauce or kecap manis
                                3 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
                                Sugar and salt to taste

                                Heat the wok and pour in the oil.

                                Add garlic, 3 tablespoons of sabal, sliced potatoes, shrimp, chicken and tofu. Stir fry until fragrant and the shrimp are pink. Add the noodles and sauces and continue stirring. Set the noodles to the side of the wok.

                                Add some more oil and then crack the eggs. Scramble the eggs and mix in with the noodles. Add in the beansprouts and quick stir for another 1 minute. Serve hot and garnish with chopped spring onions and sliced red chilies. Squeeze some lime juice over the noodles before eating.
