I don't like marshmallows with my sweet potatoes, either.

I love "Candied Yams" (sweet potatoes) as my mother made them with orange rind, orange juice and brown sugar. Yum.

My sister asked me to make the Pioneer Woman's sweet potato casserole a couple of years ago and I loved it. It's basically a sweet potato custard with a streusel topping of brown sugar and pecans.

I also make some killer sweet potato biscuits that are also made in a famous tavern in Philadelphia.
