            Apparently rob deleted my comment concerning his INSANITY when it comes to onions. MORE MORE MORE. They're delicious in this recipe. I skip the red wine and just use beef stock though.

              And you're doing a disservice to yourself if you don't use wine when deglazing the pot man. SOO GOOD

              But we're just not a fan of how she has you cut the onions. We just made them smaller and got a better char on them.

                  haha. The first time I made it the pot looked like I made onion soup with a smattering of roast. It was ridiculous.

                  Otherwise, I'm with you. I love raw/cooked/whatever onions. Just not a fan in this particular dish.

                        You should try Ree's sweet potato casserole. I made it for Thanksgiving and everybody loved it. It could be used either sweet or savory. It's got brown sugar and pecans on the top. YUM!

                                Sweet potatoes are acceptable ONLY as fries. Rest is just mushy shit.
