Tonight I had my mother's home-made lamb barley soup with some good, crusty bread. She put plenty of tasty veggies in it and a lot of love.

I love lamb. It's the best.

I didn't eat the buns or add any ketchup/condiments. It was just 2 awesome burger patties, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and bacon.

took advantage of the warm weather & grilled some filet mignons w/ salt & pepper, baked potatoes, a vegetable blend (frozen; sue me, it was a weeknight) & washed it down w/ a Theakston's Old Peculier.

This goddamn Pioneer Woman chuck roast recipe is amazing. And it makes so much food, lasts me like 5 days easy, and that's if I am sharing it with someone. Only thing is I need a bigger Le Creuset so I can pack in more onions and carrots.
