    Dark Matter - 3 eps in and digging the hell out of it.

    The Big Door Price S3 - up to day and I still love this show. Feel good and bad and good at the same time depending on your mindset.

    The Con Queen of Hollywood- 3 ep doc on Apple about people getting scammed by someone pretending to be all of the big wig ladies in Hollywood like Amy Pascal, Kathleen Kennedy, etc... Done by the guy who did American Movie. Could have used one more episode in my opinion, but was super interesting as I don't remember any of this as it went down during covid.

          That "movie fans" wasn't the first thing after "thanks", as well as mentioning TikTok, gives me one hell of a pause.

          $10 says they'll try to say Crystal Lake has been haunted/cursed for centuries, Jason's third cousin twice removed from his mother's side was a serial killer/lunatic/not a nice person, and/or Jason has a hidden/lost sister/brother/Shetland Pony that is looking for revenge.

          I'm also betting Jason won't even show up in whatever they're planning, too.

            Finally, we get to know WHY and WHERE the machete came from--and why it chose to be (yes, we also discover it was sentient all along) a tool of utter and udder destruction.

            (Been watching the Sexo Men '69 cartoon and it's a weird fast tracking of a lot of stories from the 90s. Fun, but over extremely quickly.)

                    Big Door Prize latest episode was fantastic but goddammit Chris O'Dowd.....that better have been a fakeout or I now do not like your character anymore.

                      Tires was fucking hilarious. I'm so glad Shane was able to get it made and a second season as well. The Bikini Car Wash ep was hilarious.

                        Dark Matter is fucking dooooope. Almost done with the first season and so far so good.

                        Presumed Innocent - Jakey G crime thriller that is fucking awesome far.

                        Big Door Prize season 3 ended perfectly imo.

                          Holy shit is The Acolyte infuriating. I want to like it, there are plenty of things to like about it imo, but the fucking editor is THE WORST. Cannot properly build tension, cuts that make no sense, the most anti-climactic endings of episodes....yet I have to finish it. The "big" reveal has to be a semi-fakeout or just a part of something better....has to be.....that was evident to anyone who even sort of watched and it would have been such a bad ass moment (which, it still sort of was if only due to whatever the armguard/helmet is made of that can break lightsabers) but the weird pacing ruined even that imo.

                          That being said, love the use of force powers more and seeing a Jedi just go HAM with fists and shit was great. Like Obi-Wan using Grevious's pistol, it was just a neat scene. But fuck man, it's just so low effort, high budget in the realm of Star Trek TNG movies, but goddammit if I didn't love ep 3 so goddamn much. Still the best and most interesting stuff in the lore.

                            Finished Dark Matter and oh shit it was so much better than I thought. I mentioned it last month to my psych (we talk tv shows/movies to get warmed up) and all she wanted to do was hear my thoughts on the full show as she fucking BINGED the thing to the point, she said she stayed up during the last episode to catch it when it would drop at midnight or whatever.

                            I disappointed her with only being up to the second to last ep so I could only give my thoughts of what I knew and what I had hope to happen and I was a bit off (not much!) and it was so much better than I thought.

                            We both liked it for the emotional/ethical discussions to be had. Last week's session and what we talked about makes more sense now that I've seen the finale. Good fucking shit. Not for you if you want action and shit, and this kind of shit hits harder in my world and has lately but I highly recommend it.

                              Watched the first episode of EVIL as we were bored last night and knowing nothing about it, I dug it. It's X-Files + The Exorcist but the character George sold me. I hope George keeps showing up. Don't tell me if George does or doesn't keep showing up. I am actually enjoying not knowing anything.
