Almost done with the first season of The Wire. Forgot how great it is. Watching 2-3 episodes a night. Really fucking dreading the second season. I hope it's not as boring as I remember it. Also forgot how much I like Wallace and D's interactions.

You could basically skip the first season and not miss anything. I don't know if they did massive retooling during that break between seasons or what but it turned into quite a different show. In fact, the past two seasons have strayed almost entirely from the monster of the week formula.
