The Passage continues to be b-movie entertaining. Shit really picked up in the last 2 episodes.
Also, how the fuck did I miss that the CW is producing a "The Lost Boys" show? And according to the internet instead of the The Frog Brothers it's going to be The Frog Sisters?
Good choice there tv execs. NO ONE CAN TOUCH THE IMMORTAL FELDDOG.

Still think Page is the dogshittiest of the group at present. The musical interludes are a bit grating. I thought I was watching a bunch of theatre students flash mobbing a rendition of Rent in that first episode.
Flourishes like those were obnoxious to me (as much as I like They Might Be Giants, their music works for Tiny Toons but detracted from the sight of Five being a completely morally compromised character) I thoroughly enjoy the character interactions so far barring Vanya.
Page is actually the weakest link in the show for the most part. she doesn't get much to do until near the end of the run. Everyone has been saying they loved TMBG in that scene, and like you, all I could think of was fucking Tiny Toons and it didn't MAKE ANY SENSE in the context of teh scene.
Five is fucking great and it's good they picked a kid who isn't terrible because he has a lot on his shoulders as the show goes on.
But Hazel and the donut lady is my fucking jam. Loved seeing that actor playing a character that is much different than what he did in Mindhunters.

Cha Cha and Hazel were great in the book. I hear they’re much more prominent here.
Still miss the Kraken’s prison-stripe getup. The tacticool shit lessens the strangeness of these characters.
The change to Space Boy has been well handled (though again downplays just how weird the academy is). Usually practical prosthesis that extreme looks laughable, but it’s shot pretty well.

I’m sure I’ll end up flipping my shit with Vanya later on, but even at the setup (HEAVY HANDED PILL SCENE BE DAMNED) I feel the actor they chose to portray what happens with her character has yet to prove herself capable of not sucking the life out of a scene.
pretty sure I'm the only one who watches Jon Glaser Loves Gear on TruTV but if you like ridiculous comedy with a surprising amount of story woven through the episodes you may like this.
Most of you probably know Jon through Parks And Rec. He played Councilman Jamm. YOU JUST GOT JAMMED!
This week's episode started off as a review about cameras and ended up with Jon Glaser realizing he's a "tucker" and comes from a long line of "tuckers".
tucker = when you tuck your penis between your legs and pretend you have a vagina.
fucking gold.

The Lost Boys thing pretty much came about because the pilot they shot for Wayward Sisters, the Supernatural spinoff didn't wow the execs. They pretty much said they didn't see anything Supernatural based working without the Winchesters being prominent. I disagree but alas, there it is.

The Orville continues to be exactly what I want out of a Star Trek show.
The last episode was pretty great. It hit me in the feels which is weird to say based on the fact it's a show with a blob voiced by Norm Macdonald. I don't expect this show to last past another season based on the fact that no one watches it, but I do enjoy they at least attempt to do what TNG and even the OG Star Trek did by bringing in real world politics and framing them within the context of the show but you know, with the occasional episode centered around porn addiction (which is still the funniest episode).
