It's weird...the last two episodes felt like an entire season of the show. I mean, they covered the entirety of the Mark Antony/Cleopatra storyline in two effing episodes. It was great stuff, but I really wish that the story had been able to breathe. Alas.

Man, King of the Nerds is the best fucking television right now. Sorry True Detective. This shit is INTENSE. Zack the cringiest person ever just keeps kicking ass much to everyone's chagrin. IT's amazing. He has to be an Andy Kaufman type because I still refuse to believe someone like this exists.

Just finished Veronica Mars. I'm guessing it was a scheduling thing but there's a serious lack of interplay between Veronica and Wallace that really hurts the third season, I think. And I don't think the creators were told the third season would be the last so the end of the season is very rushed and ends weird. I assume the first 15 minutes of the movie will be "hey, here's the end of all those stories from the end of the show". That said, I thought the whole show was very entertaining and Bell and Colantoni were really great.

I just started the first season last night. Kinda seems like a high-minded revenge story at the point but, holy cow, it's fun to watch Spacey eat each and every scene.

Same. I got through the first seven episodes. It seems kind of hollow, but a lot of fun.

S1 starts strong, has a bit of a lag, and then ends really strong. The actual ending is a tad anti-climactic, but it leads nicely into S2. Indeed, S2E1 would have been a better ending to S1...and I'll leave it at that.

The plot of the third episode is infuriating. To the point that I wish Spacey had beat that local guy to death with the garden implement. I suppose it's what would happen in real life but there's not really any logical way Underwood could be responsible for that death.

I know it's just one more way the show can say "see, Politics is terrible garbage" but it really annoyed me.

Stick with it. You're in for a treat, especially with the Peter Russo character.

Me? I'm through episode 11 of S2. We're gonna finish it off tonight. Gotta say that S2 is much more consistent than S1.
