The mood of the show is great. The story maybe not so much. I still have the feeling that they are going to spring some crazy out of left field identity for the killer. I hope that I get a better appreciation for the story once it's completed.

I still like the show a WHOLE lot, but I'm not disappointed at all. Not every AMC show will be revolutionary. That said, the show is much better letting the mystery around the teacher, and now his friend from the mosque, linger. The three suspects ruled out in three episodes was quickly becoming cliche, and I am glad they avoided that. My biggest problem with the show is I just don't give a fuck about the political story.
