I was a good series, but no way NEAR the level of GoT.
They renewed it only because they invested so much in it already.
Wasn't saying Borgias was the same level - I agree there's far more interesting stuff going down in GoT. I was only saying as a small episode season that The Borgias worked better than it would have as a much longer season, and had a lot less filler by being only 6 episodes.
Didn't catch Rome (I suck, I know), but I'll take your word for it that it dusts Borgias.
Rome's definitely been on my radar for quite awhile now. Just a matter of finding the time to sit and watch the whole thing. Maybe after GoT wraps up for the season, I'll move on to that, as Fox's Animation Domination ain't gonna cut it for my Sunday nights.
I'm just loving the hell out of all the performances in this series. All of the kids deliver in spades, and I'm planning on diving into the books as a result, just to see what got cut and to delve into Martin's world as much as I can.
