The Dinklage as Tyrion is just icing on the cake. After Black Death, I'll take Sean Bean in any role with a sword, as he now does since LOTR.

Dig the Wall setting and the guy playing Jaime Lannister. And Charles fucking Dance as Daddy Lannister? Add Lena Headey and now I'll root for the bad guys, even Joffrey....

Not sure about Daenerys, but since it's HBO I hope they totally show her get wrecked by that barbarian warlord.

Can't wait to see how they portray the Martells.

The AV Club review is AMAZING. The guy rails on about how nudity is rampant and brings down the show a notch...but he HAS read the first book. OK...so do you not get that the nudity is totally appropriate at letting you know the world you're in? Everyone is fucking everything they can get their hands on. It's Rome, not Salt Lake. I mean what tits did we get here? In a whorehouse? DUH. At a Dothraki wedding? The book goes into detail about half naked dancers getting done on the dance floor. This poor little guy is going to kill himself before the end of this season if he keeps playing the "I must protect and save women from showing their boobs on TV!" crusade. He even complained about Boardwalk Empire's nudity. YEAH PEOPLE GET NAKED WHEN THEY FUCK GUY
