Amazing episode this week. Stephen Morse is always a joy, and his performance was heartbreaking. Shame he's probably just a one episode character.

Seriously, that was some sad stuff with him. Fucking loved the ending scene though. So is this show picked up for another season or is this all we get?

OR DOES SHE? Seems way to coincidental that her boyfriend would be waiting at the old man's house when lights dropped off the clothes. And yeah maybe he told her to set that up but even the dumbest of folks would have to ask why, wouldn't they?

His whole family are complete leeches so it wouldn't surprise me if she had an idea and was just turning a blind eye to it all.

It's fucking sad that I love this show more than Justified this season (so far). And even sadder that we may not get another season.

Ratings for this are apparently lower than Terriers. I read on Sepinwall that if this makes it to a second season it will be because FX doesn't want two high profile cancellations in a row.

They shouldn't have cancelled Terriers, they should have moved it nights or something. It just pisses me off when quality shows are shit canned because they don't reach some magical ratings number. HELLO!!! You're fucking FX not CBS or NBC. You're not going to be number fucking 1 every hour, it's just not going to happen.

I really believe Terriers would have caught on if they had marketed it better from the beginning. Hell I didn't know what the show was about till episode 1.

And with commercials featuring a dog and a view of the ocean that's what one should expect. Seriously no one knew what the fuck the show was about so why tune in? I'm sorry but they dropped the ball on Terriers before it even came out of the gate. Here's just one example of what I'm talking about.

I don't disagree at all. They fucking dropped the ball on marketing Terriers, but the fact remains for whatever reason Lights Out is doing as bad as Terriers, and I thought the marketing for Lights Out was pretty great.
