God I hate that WWE "wrestling".

WWE style has become so watered down that it's basically a little kids show now. I get it, they THINK they're broadening their audience by appealing to young kids, problem is the young kids that started watching in 1983 no longer want to watch people "hulk up" and shit like that.

ECW may have laid a few turds but at least the in ring resembled actual violence. Which, let's face it, violence is a large part of what brings people to wrestling.

Another aspect that's been largely overlooked? Comedic element. There's only one guy bringing any kind of funny and that's Santino and they're relegated him to curtain jerker status.

I don't doubt him in the slightest. The show is about to hit the 100 episode syndication milestone (although I seriously doubt it's going to live on in the after-market), everyone's contracts go up next year and now that NBC is under new management they're not going to want to keep an expensive show that nobody watches. Plus as The Office has shown this season knowing that Carell was leaving, having a clear exit strategy resulted in an excellent season.

We've seen comedy series having 8-to-10+ year run that center around one couple. If they're having to filter it out among three, yeah...flawed concept. Feel like they could have just done the show about the "normal" couple.
