The best of all the "look at us run an odd store" shows is Oddities, but they're spending WAY too much time forcing "hey look at this oddball customer and their tricks, or performances, or the quirky house they have" shit this season. Last episode spent a long time showing them searching a flea market for stuff and it was the most interesting episode in a long time.

The tubby dude is awesome, because he doesn't seem to fit in there at ALL and just takes it all in. The woman is really knowledgeable, but her quirk drives me insane sometimes. Same for the younger guy, he LOVES to show off everything he knows. A lot of the repeat customers are the best part of the show.

Comic Book Men was actually pretty funny. Bryan and Walt are the goods. They were always in my favorite episodes of the smodcast and I kind of dug this show. Had no idea Bryan turned into a mountain man.

I'm not thinking about budgets or other shows when I watch Tv. I'm thinking about what's on right now. All of those "reality retail" shows are staged. Doesn't mean I can't find them humorous. IT's mostly due to the fact that Bryan is a goddamn mountain man now.
