New favorite show? Possibly. Science Channel on Wednesday nights.
The premise goes like so: two dopes are dropped in the wilderness and told to get to a finish line within two days. They get a compass, a map with the destination marked, and whatever they want to pack. They are being tracked by Mantracker, a bad-ass cowboy who's a master in reading trails and all that stuff. All Mantracker gets is a horse and a local guide.
The first episode I saw a couple weeks ago had these two morons who thought they were tough shit. One was a fat dude who was a realtor/"club promoter" and the other guy was a skinny thug. The fat dude was winded 10 seconds in. Mantracker found them 10 minutes in but let get away. The whole time the idiots talked about how they were so much better than the guy. He was on their tail the whole time but waited until the second day to take them out.
Oh, and it's a Canadian show so every has a goofy accent.
