3g and gps are the ONLY new things on the iphone 3g. well that, and the new data plan. ugh. $30 per month? LAME. might as well get an eee pc and lounge around free wifi areas.

unless you really NEED to surf the net at any time AND you need to know exactly where the fuck you are in the world, it's a waste. especially if you already have the old iphone.

fuck, just get the itouch and leech off wifi if you need an inonsense. especially since the aim application and any other instant message app is still a pile of crap.

i was wrong. the data plan is $20 above your regular voice plan. the 3g is amazing and i'm not always near wifi hotspots. or at least near ones that are free. again i was wrong, the aim and fring applications are really good. unfortunately, they can't run in the background unless you jailbreak it.

as a phone, it's a whole fucking lot better than my previous phone. no one could hear me and vice versa.

still no mms and copy and paste but no one really sends me pictures and if they wanted to, it's just easier to have them send it to my email.

Oh wow, I had no idea it didn't receive MMS, that kinda sucks...it took years for them to figure that shit out with the blackberry...it's all good. I was considering an iPhone, but I'm too much in love with BlackBerry...

i have a Blackberry curve....kinda sucks that it doesnt take videos....but i heard there is a video application you can download?
Definitely want an iphone though. but the monthly payments are kinda killing me. So the next phone I get will be incredibly cheap and boring.

You have to find the specific file extension to watch videos...there was supposed to be an update that would allow video taking...I don't think it ever came out...
