The AK is NOT useless!

It is the most reliable big bore combat rifle ever made. Throw it in mud, bake in an oven for a week, then piss on it... and the fucker will STILL fire without a cleaning!

You can't hit the floor if you aimed at it, though.

But the gold plated one came from the palace of one of Saddam Hussein's sons. I forget which.

And that is a nice ACR. I have been thinking about one of those, but what's the effective range on one? I would probably put a powerful scope on it and use it for hunting.

With a 16 inch barrel? I'll be nice and say maybe 550-600 meters lethal. Depends on your optics.

I'm more partial to the short barrel. Throw a C-More red dot on it, and it's CQB heaven!
