since some of you now have an iphone or ipod touch i figured i would make a list of apps you might want to check out. post your thoughts on the ones i've listed or ones that have caught your fancy.
game apps:

fieldrunners – tower defense type game highly recommended
brother in arms – 3<SUP>rd</SUP> person shooter that looks great but has some funky controls
galcon – fast paced risk type game
rogue – free rogue game
warfare inc. – awesome rts game
vay – oldschool rpg
reign of swords – turn based strategy game (think of advance wars without the graphics)

</st1:City>sparta </ST1– god of war type game, great graphics
orions – card based strategy game
monopoly – no need to tell you what this is about, but it’s a great translation
simcity – simcity. Some framerate issues but it’s simcity
I love katamari – katamari! And it’s awesome. Some framerate issues but still playable
rolando – basically playstation’s locoroco. it’s freakin awesome as hell
lux dlx – risk type game with tons of free downloadable maps
7citiesTD – really stylized tower defense
besiegement – tower defense with old school graphics
crystal defenders – square’s version of tower defense
the creeps! – really good looking tower defense
zombies attack – tower defense with zombies
alien mangle – noteworthy fps game.
1112 – fully stylized game with great artwork. part of a series.
soul trapper – audio adventure game. pretty good.
alternate endings – choose your own adventure game with fmvs.
strategery – risk type game, akin to dicewars
scrabble – scrabble
the chronicles of inotia – rpg game stylized like secret of mana
real soccer ’09 – really good soccer game for $0.99.
vconqr – another risk type game
samurai puzzle battle – puzzle quest type game
