HELP!! Moved this discussion out of the santa thread. I can only get surround sound to work with the 360, and only with games. Doesn't work with DVD's played through it. Bought another optical cable to run from the DVD player that came with the system. Hooked it up, and nothing. WTF am I doing wrong?? I am very frustrated. Please help.

Look at what your optical inputs are listed as: Mine are video 1 and video 2. Make sure your yellow video cord from dvd is pklugged into one of those (vid 1 or Vid 2) and not dvd and that the optical cable from dvd matches."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet.
