Supposedly the Vikings are offering 7 million more dollars (for a total of 20 million) to encourage Favre to come back.

Personally, I think that Favre will come back after the season opener vs New Orleans. The Saints made it really clear that they were gunning for him during the playoffs last year...he probably figures that avoiding THAT game would be the best way to ensure that he doesn't get injured again, and coming in after that game keeps up his 'never missed a start' stat.
