AWWWW! That hurts, man! Lived for Bullwinkle and Friends when I was kid. Mr. Peabody rocked, Dudley Do-Right, Fractured Fairy tales, etc. Great times, and the in-jokes were awesome (In the Fractured Fairy Tales episode "The Enchanted Fly," one of the rewards offered to the man who would rescue and marry the princess is "an autographed picture of Keye Luke.").

Shannon had just started playing young Nala in the Broadway production of "The Lion King" in September 2009 when she was diagnosed with leukemia in spring 2010. They featured her story quite a bit on NY1 as she fought the disease, and there had been a huge marrow drive to try and find a match for her. She received an umbilical cord transplant back in August, but apparently, it didn't take.

Just 11 years old, talented as hell, and she seemed like such a sweet, positive kid, too. And she was a Queens girl as well. Damn, I just feel like crying.

Wow. All honesty, I thought he died awhile ago. Lots of movies I caught thanks to him - 1976's King Kong (anyone remember when John Belushi used to impersonate him on SNL? "Okay.. I want to tell you something.. when the Jaws die, nobody cry.. when my Kong die, everybody cry!"), Flash Gordon, Dune, Hannibal, Army of Darkness, the Conan flicks...
