    It was said that Howard Hughes would be constipated for weeks. He would also be placed on the toliet for 24-48 hour stretches drugged to high hell.

      Well, here's a little nugget I read about from when Jean Harlow died. She died of kidney failure, just like I was talking about up yonder. Her kidneys had shut down, so her body was excreting urine in any way it could. They said that Clarke Gable and Carole Lombard came by to see her, basically to say goodbye since everyone knew she was going to die. Gable leaned down to kiss her on the cheek, and he said later on that he could actually smell the urine on her skin, and on her breath as she exhaled.

      So yeah, it sounds goofy, "Elvis died from being constipated" - I mean, a couple of days of constipation will be uncomfortable, but not fatal. However, if you go long term like that, it can spell big trouble for your body over all.

      My mom's a retired nurse, so when I talk to her this weekend, I'll try to remember to ask her how something like that happens.

      Now go eat your goddamn bran flakes, ya little fuckers!

                  Really quite genuinely saddened over his passing. His work is really incredibly stunning, much more so than the likes of Boris Vallejo and Luis Royo.

                    I knew he'd been feeling sick for awhile, but it still sucks. Frazetta was as much an inspiration to me as Eisner, Kubert, Kirby, etc. Can't praise him enough.
