I don't think so - that was almost a year ago. I think brain swelling like this is pretty immediate - like what happened to Natasha Richardson. She said she was fine, and then was complaining of a headache within an hour of her injury. I wonder if he hit his head or fell or something Thursday night?

The guy seems like a really cool dude. I know a couple of people who have met him (he tours here in MN quite a bit) and they all say that he's a really, really nice guy...very friendly, very appreciative of his fans, very approachable. KQRS, our local classic rock radio station, interviews him whenever he comes to town; he's consistently one of the most entertaining interviews that they have.

I'm not really a fan of Poison or his solo work, but I still genuinely wish the guy well.
