      Fucking shame, but I can't say I'm surprised. He's had a LONG history of substance abuse, and came close to checking out several times.

      Still, he was a great performer, especially his early STP stuff. RIP, dude.

              It's a shame but his out put the last decade has not been good. STP peaked with Purple. All downhill after that. And fuck Velvet Revolver.

                  and yeah, big fan of TINY MUSIC from STP. That's definitely my 'go to' album of theirs.

                          Agreed. Not that I'm glad Weiland's dead or anything, but I always HATED STP. The fact that it's wall to wall STP on the radio is therefore truly aggravating.
