    To be fair, it's probably a 'had to be there' kind of thing. It was comedy taking on Thatcher's Britain. Comedy won in the end.

        That'd be me - big fan of Mayall's work on The Young Ones, Bottom with his Young Ones cohort Adrian Edmondson, and his work as Lord Flasheart on Blackadder the Third and Blackadder Goes Forth.

        Fucking shame - when he was hitting the mark, Mayall was fucking hilarious. Gonna miss him.
