If so, that part was pretty awesome. Especially the "swimming with Snowwhitebush" part.

That's the part. On its own, it works great and is bonerworthy. The pacing is so slow compared to what precedes it that it simply does not work, though.

The vignettes seemed to be kind of all over the place in terms of length and pacing.

It's all over the map tonally, but the pacing only really becomes an issue in that final act. That's all about long, artistic shots that show off the animation. The story becomes secondary to the presentation and it becomes boring...even with the cartoon nudity.
