Pretty good weekend. Spent Friday night eating BBQ and drinking way too much, followed by lots of Rock Band. Got in at 1am and passed out, woke up a few hours later, made a big breakfast and nommed again. Brittany and I were itching to just get out of the house, so I took her to Pete's Fine Meats because somehow she had never been to a real butcher/deli before. Grabbed a couple pounds of super marbled skirt steak for fajitas, a pound of pecan smoked bacon (ate it this morning, amazing), some hush puppy mix, and a half pound of MASSIVE shrimp. Went and did some other running around, and ended up at a crawfish boil at one of her parents neighbors house, where I drank too much again, ate a bunch of amazing sausage, and almost got into a fist fight with a real cock sucker. About 9pm went to the taqueria and nommed once more, came home and watched South Park until we both fell asleep on the couch, then slept like babies.
Now the house is clean, the sun is shining, and I'm about to get my game on.Comment
