I had no idea Gary Busey was born minutes from where I grew up!

I used to live in the same neighborhood as a local weather guy named Dave Dahl. I asked him for an autograph when I was in 6th grade (I wanted to become a meterologist) he said no and drove off. I'd like to think that was the exact time I gave up on my dreams and started doing drugs. FUCK YOU DAVE DAHL. You suck."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG

Aside from living in Gary Busey's hometown and having met Bob Backlund about the only other "famous" story I got is that I played highschool football with Rocky Bernard. He wasn't much of a girlfriend puncher back then. Guess money(steroids) changes a person."Fuck Rob. Also, he has a podcast called Podcaust. Edgy Holocaust humor lulz indeed." - The Faraci

Few more things I thought of:
G.I. Joe & The Transformers cartoons.
The A-Team (admit it; you thoght they were cool for awhile too)
I discovered D&D. In 87-88, I DM'd a year long campaign; when we stopped, we were actually nowhere near finishing it. But what playing we did was glorious.
Hall & Oates. The Police. The Sex Pistols.
David Lee Roth had Stave Vai & Billy Sheehan in the same band.
I'll repet that: Steve Vai. And BILLY SHEEHAN. In the SAME BAND.
Poltergeist. Aliens. And Pretty in Pink had everyone maneuvering orchestrally. In the dark.
Neil Gaiman got sand in everybody's eyes.
Thomas Harris wrote Red Dragon. And Michael Mann made Manhunter.
Playmates Hope Marie Carlton, India Allen & Brandi Brandt.I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.

High five, Billy!
I was supposed to go with my brother, but he ended up running into a last minute conflict and couldn't go. He gave his ticket to my wife, so she came along without ANY knowledge of who the three guitarists were. She enjoyed the show and absolutely LOVED Vai's performance.Originally posted by MartinWho the fuck is Kellan Lutz?Originally posted by gravediggerBasically what I'm saying is that, based on what I've watched so far, we should all listen to Matt more often.Originally posted by MartinAnd who the FUCK is Peaches Geldof?

I saw Diamond Dave on the Skyscraper tour. He had Vai with him, which was awesome, but by that time Billy had left to go form Mr. Big (great career move, that) so I have still never seen him perform live. My disappointment as a bass player was writ large that day, I can tell you. The show itself, however, was great. Best concert I had ever been to until I saw Pink Floyd on the Division Bell tour, and Maiden w/ Motorhead & Dio a couple years ago at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel. He's just such a good time.I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.

Never saw Dave live, let alone Steve Vai. I think I saw Mr. Big though (I believe they opened for Rush during their Presto tour, though Matt'll tell me if I'm mistaken).
I used to listen to Dave's morning show when Howard Stern bolted for satellite radio - I liked it, because Dave would go off on weird tangents and tell some wild ass stories. I think he had Vai on as a guest at one point.
Still I always leaned more towards Joe Satriani anyway.
ETA: Gotta back Matt on this, you were damn fortunate to see Maiden, Motorhead, AND Dio. How did your head not explode from so much AWESOME?
