I think my aunt had a bread machine when I was in elementary school. I thought they died with the 80s honestly.

Yeah, we just use a mixer or food processor. I don't remember the last time we used the bread machine.

    No knead bread.

I use my Kitchenaid Food Processor for my Napolitan/NYC pizza, and the Kitchenaid Mixer for Sicilian Pizza and other pastry stuff.

All I know is that our bread maker is very, very dusty.

The only thing we pick up during an emergency is a shit load of red wine, beer, and pb and jelly.

The thing is that I usually have enough food in the house to last through a short emergency. I had to make a quick run out to get a few things that will hold us over, but not bread, eggs or milk. I got some beef to make crock pot Korean beef. I have yeast, baking powder, baking soda and flour in the house, so I can make my own bread.

    No panic here.

It's the fear of it being worse than expected, and not being able to get help and food for much longer. After Hurricane Ike I will never go into a potential weather emergency not ready for at least a week of being stuck in a space.

Well, apparently snow storms makes people want to cook bread puddings really hard.

Well, there's panic here in Jersey. We're expecting up to 12+ inches of snow is some areas (I know that this isn't much to you guys in Minnesota). So, the usual food store rush for bread, milk and eggs is ensuing.
