No you cannot re-infect yourself with the same virus. Once your body has been infected with a virus, it (your body's infection fighting system, the immune system) does a fantastic job of creating antibodies to that virus and once it sees it again in your body, it will kill it (unless you are immune compromised as in AIDS, Transplant patients, certain autoimmune disorders).
However, the virus MAY have mutated and has become so foreign again that you may not have antibodies that recognize the virus and you WILL become infected. That is what AIDS is all about--they can't find a cure because the virus is so virulent and keeps mutating into different forms and once they discover an anti-viral med, it quickly becomes less effective against the HIV virus.
