      • You can totally see that in your pic. Hand touching the girl? Fingers straight out and stiff. There's a joke available in that last statement.

                  • Okay so I was there too and I have a few pics to post. They should be up tonight on my blog...This was my first Comic Con and I was a bit spoiled because I had all access and could pretty much do whatever I wanted. Worked with a ton of celebs and shit, saw so many people (Kane Hodder, Robert Englund, Stan Lee, Patton Oswalt, Twilight Fags, Jeff Bridges, Seth Green, and all the people from Fox...personally escorted a few). But to be completely honest the only part that felt like the Comic Con I always dreamed of as a kid, was Artist's Alley. Everything else felt like a huge gimmick aimed at getting "nerds" to spend their hard earned money. The convention is raped by Hollywood and the likes and doesn't seem as "Comicy" as it may have been. I met people that were part of it since the early days and they are amazed/blown away by how insane the convention has become. It's very hard to deal with being there 4 days let alone the 6 I was there. My advice, try to find a schedule in advance and plan to do it two days.

Hahaha. With 120+ attendees, you really think Comic Con could EVER be low key and not get Hollywood to notice? Ari, Wayne, and I were there back in 2006 and some of the studios didn't even bother bringing clips. I honestly feel that it was the nerds/dorks/geeks and their blogs that finally made Hollywood go full force with Comic Con.

There are only 3 days worth of Comic Con, the "first" day is preview night which only has the exibition hall open (and not everything is available that night). And the panel and "event" schedules are released two weeks prior and can change a week or even a few days before Comic Con starts. And unless you're talking about just the exhibition hall, THERE'S NO WAY TO DO THE THINGS YOU WANT IN TWO DAYS.

Go as a regular attendee and stop talking out of your ass, sucka.

I may be mistaken but I was there Wednesday night (preview night), Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday...I may be mistaken but that seems like 4 days...You could easily see the exhibition hall in a day, depending on how long you want to wait in line for shit makes it take longer. But seriously who the fuck wants to wait in line for 2 hours to get a free Star Trek "Live Long and Prosper" Foam Finger? You're absolutely right about the schedule and what not, but all the cool shit usually happens on Thurs, Fri or Sat...so pick the two days you want and call it a weekend. The panels are cool, don't get me wrong, but most of the shit they discuss is available on the internet moments after they're finished. And who wants to wait in line for hours to hear this bullshit? The best part that I missed were the screenings of all the movies. I wish I would have focused on seeing some of those...Watchmen with Zach Snyder sounded real cool.

That. That's why. Because you get to see shit like War Machine busting out his weaponry all at the same time and kids shooting people in the face with guns (Kick-Ass). Honestly, if you dig any fucking show or movie, you'll probably be in one of the rooms during a good portion of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Exhibition Hall can be seen in less than an hour but to get the deals, you'll be spending at least a fucking day there. I'm talking about finding comics and indie flicks at the best price.

San Diego Comic Con is a place where you can do so much and still miss out.

I went to SDCC in '02, '03 and for one day in '04. It wasn't all that different except it appears to be way WAY more jammed these days.
