bryan is correct. the pandora application uses the 3g, edge network, or wifi. although, it's great if you don't want to use all your memory space on songs. and if you didn't want to, make sure you use the app around the wifi hotspots. battery isn't drained as fast through wifi as it is on 3g. -

Preach it, brother. I have the "get everything" package and that should mean I get EVERYTHING regardless of when the new channels are added. They add promo channels and stuff all the time and I don't have to pay extra to hear them.
