About. Fucking. Time. We had the largest liberal voter turnout here in NJ since '93. Folks in this state HATE Christie, so Guadango was politically dead where she stood. Looked over some of the elections that Democrats took today and it's beautiful.

The boyfriend of the reporter shot dead on TV ran an anti-gun violence campaign in her memory, and beat a GOP shit heel rated A+ by NRA.

Trans woman beat a GOP dickwad that wrote a bathroom bill.

NJ mayor and some school board positions won after campaign posters were all super racist and calling the now Hoboken mayor a terrorist and calling for deportation of the Asian and Indian school board members before they install cricket fields (???).

Maine expanded Medicaid after their governor vetoed bills for it 7 times.

A Democratic Socialist former Marine beat a GOP majority whip (!!!).

Just the ones I remember off the top of my head. I personally went and voted for every single tax hike and bond in Houston, and against a bunch of bills that deified first responders. Why the fuck shouldn't they or their families pay property taxes? Fuck you. And a bill that said the courts could not pull the state of Texas into court over their actions until the state let them, more or less. Yeah fuck that.

I suspect that the hold up is regarding the 'every man for himself' epidemic going on in the white house (reportedly). If everyone is indeed starting to talk, then there may be merit to holding off a tad longer on those arrests. Those indictments are hanging over all of their heads like the sword of Damocles, and that's probably doing wonders for motivating those fuckers to start talking.
