Cap is going to be a big fucking hit. Of that I'm certain after seeing that trailer. Even despite opening between Potter (which will be the #1 money-earner this year) and Cowboys & Aliens (which will do surprisingly better business than I think people expect).
Basic story of the ugly duckling/underdog wanting to prove himself against the face of adversity tweaked with the superhero angle, combined with the WWII-setting, Nazi-bashing (something that really helped Inglorious Basterds be so damn popular two years back) and the fact that we haven't gotten an American-flag waving, pro-USA tentpole since ironically enough Spider-Man.Last edited by FilmNerdJamie; 03-24-2011, 06:51 AM.Originally posted by AriComment
