Oh man, what a great movie. If the Phase 2 movies keep upping the ante like this, Avengers 2 is going to melt faces. The whole thing was fantastic from beginning to end. I was really surprised by Groot. Vin's most emotional performance to date!

I saw GotG w/ my son today. I liked it, as it was a perfectly fine action movie with a generous dose of humor and some really enjoyable characters. But it wasn't the best Marvel movie yet to me. Probably because by the time this version of the GotG hit newsstands, I had stopped avisly collecting comics on a regular basis. To me, the GoTg are Martinex, Charlie 27, Vance Astro and Yondu with a head fin and a bow. I just wasn't invested in these characters the same way I was w/ all the guys in the Avengers. For me, that remians the best Marvel film to date.I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.
