I want it to be an accident: "Whoops, we released a rough version trailer that hasn't been worked on." but we all know it has been worked on, and that's what we got.

Man, why couldn't we have just gotten Werewolf Women of the S.S. instead?

100% agreement on Werewolf Women of the SS. I'd easily watch the hell outta that as opposed to... whatever the hell Zombie's pushing in that Munsters trailer.

I'm disappointed, a first in regards to Zombie's films, at least the one's I've seen (haven't seen Three from Hell or 31 yet). Damn thing looks like it was shot by the crew from The Asylum - cheap as fuck looking, acting with as much range as a broken water pistol, and special effects on the level of the crappiest Sci-Fi Channel TV film. And it's a damn ORIGIN story! The one thing I was praying wasn't going to happen has happened. No Marilyn, no Eddie... I mean, the hell, man? I was betting it was gonna be a Munsters family reunion with all the uncles, cousins and aunts visiting the Munsters in their 'hood, while there neighbors decide enough's enough and try to get the Munsters thrown out of town or something. Not this origin retread crap! You do a Munsters film, you go big or go home, like Sonnenfeld did with the Addams Family films!

I'll see it eventually when it hits cable, but no way am I shelling out money for this based on that trailer.

I think the best approach to doing THE MUNSTERS would be to ape the WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS route and turn it into a mockumentary.

31 is probably his WORST film but Munsters may take that mantle. The only thing worthwhile in 31 was Richard Brake as Doomface. From my "review" on the movie from the main site:

The best thing about the movie is Richard Brake as Doom-Head but unfortunately, he wasn’t in the movie all that much. In fact, there were times where I thought he’d be an amazing take on the Joker when DC reboots the character for the millionth time in the future. FINAL RATING: 1.5 LIVING DEAD GIRLS OUT OF 8.3 DRAGULAS

Brake is also the best thing in Three from Hell that isn't Bill Moseley.

yeah, I'm fucking pumped for it. I've rewatched the new one a few times since I grabbed it on 4k and I dig it more each time. That being said, it still bugs me how it fucking ends if only because I want THE REST OF THE STORY.
