Michael Myers was always my least favorite slasher and franchise. I love the first one and the third one but I don't give any shit about Myers past that.

I like 1 and 2, and the new one. All the other sequels are dog shit, and not fun dog shit. I love 3 but that's a totally different animal.

And I'm with Rob and Bill - Halloween as a franchise was great with the first two films. Three was it's own beast, bless it. After that was pretty much meh, until my interest got piqued with Rob Zombie's take - it'll never replace Carpenter's original, but I do love that remake. If we're talking slasher love, I'm backing my Jersey bro, Jason Vorhees and Friday the 13th, y'all. Myers can suck it.
