    Look, the book was not good. Fun, but a really guilty pleasure. Mind you, I liked that trailer. Maybe I'll see it, with Spielberg attached.

      And while I agree the nostalgia porn is tiresome... that use of Pure Imagination in the teaser kinda grew on me.

            Dude, it's Spielberg, and it's nostalgia-filled sci-fi. If ANYONE can make it work, it's him.

            Fuck, he nearly made the first Transformer great by "consulting", and you could feel part of his influence.

              All I know is, it has Rush in the trailer. I never read the book but, from what I understand, Rush plays a major factor in the main character's life.
