We’re knee deep in Stranger Things, but RRR jumped on my immediate watchlist. It just look insane.

I was planning on watching the first one this weekend after checking that RRR movie as I don't think I've legitimately seen the first movie all the way through since it released in the 80s.

It's a great theatrical experience, but not a great movie.

People are like it's so much better than the first movie. Well, it's the first movie updated for people that think the world began in 2014.

It's a great watch, but it has the shelf life of raw milk.

All I can ever think of now when I hear people clapping during a movie:

FWIW Ari said it was pretty good as well when I talked to him. I told him when he buys it on 4k he can send me the digital code lol.

Nothing is a theater movie me for me anymore UNTIL Avatar 2 but only cause of the 3d AND only if cases aren't spiking again.

    There is no subtext.

This is 2022's version of The Green Berets. The reviewers comparing it to Fury Road are fucking jokes. God, they will let any jackoff write shit as long as you slap he/him or she/they/aardvark on your social media and jump whenever a blue checkmark looks your way.

Maverick isn't bad at all, it's a great spectacle. But, fuck...it's a very 2D movie.

    Cool.

    Do we have unrepentant homoeroticism?

TOP GUN: MAVERICK is the real deal. I'd argue that it's possibly better than the original film. The flying footage is just awe inspiring.
    Fun to see Val again.

You need to see this in the theater. Also, without spoiling anything, you are going to want to watch the first 5 minutes of TOP GUN first...just the credits through 'Danger Zone'. Trust me...just watch that, you won't regret it.

Eaga is seriously one of the best movie I’ve ever seen.

just read the premise of Eega. Holy shit, I'm looking for that one.

I can't wait for some of you to watch this and give me your feedback.
Also: if you're concerned about the typical Indian dance numbers that are always present in these movies, don't worry. You've got the one that I linked above at about the one hour mark (and it's fucking awesome) and then you've got one right at the end which is a celebration of all things India...and it's fantastic.

I just saw that it’s from the director of Eega.
