      I like Matthew Vaughn's style, sense of pace, and sense of humor. I've, at the minimum, 'enjoyed' all of his films, so I'm gonna be optimistic about this based upon the trailer.

            I really like First Class and Layer Cake. But I really, deeply disliked Stardust. Virtually nothing worked in it for me and a lot of that was down to tone. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but this trailer didn't blow my socks off. It's a handsome enough looking film and Firth looks to be having fun, I just think Vaughn needs to stretch himself a bit more. I'd like to see him do something more grown up.

            Edit: Forgot he did Kick Ass in amongst all that. Yeah, this is a step back for him, I think.
