      BMD is right as in they've been following all other sites. The only thing you can really give them credit for is the lightsaber as focal point early leak.

      But, Finn, Rey and Ren all have OT family ties.

      Some might say that Rey and Ren share them.

        My impression is this:

        JJ and Lawrence took the EU concept of the Solo twins and ran with it, letting the son go evil (as he does in the EU) but going in slightly different directions. The trilogy is building towards a brother vs sister final battle in the third film.

        Am I correct?

          Close. I will say this, as it was recently brought up to me by someone else who has been following this movie since the beginning.


          This new trilogy seems like it's aping a lot from Lucas's original take on the first movie. There are vehicles, characters and plots lifted whole from those first two drafts.
