        I think this and the other projects they've announced are possibly going to engender more scorn or flat out disinterest due to the frequency of the releases as well as each of the stories coming from largely the same time periods.

        You just can't sustain such a level of market saturation without massive amounts of fatigue setting in. I don't care if you are a mouse undying.

          The EU was already being slaughtered by the prequels. I enjoyed most of the EU (and had only read a handful of books, the best being the X-Wing series) but Lucas always said they were only cannon until he'd do something to contradict them. Plus, they had jizz.
