The writingThe Mentalist DVD is consistently good, the crimes investigated require thought in figuring out the perpetrator, Desperate housewives DVD but what really makes the series work is the presence of the main character - the almost nonchalant mindreader Patrick Jane. The good wife DVD Part of this is due to the inventiveness of the creator of the series, part of it is due to the script du jourMedium DVD but the whole thing couldn't work as well without the subtle acting skills of Simon Baker. Monk DVD Baker knows who to keep the twinkle in his eye, even in the most potentially dangerous moments.
