I think it's a lot easier to like a pretty straight forward stoner comedy than it is a stoner comedy with an intentionally cheesy high fantasy setting and tons of minotaur cock.

I'm guessing at least 85% of the film critics out there were at one time raped by a minotaur.

My wife and I laughed really hard at 'Pineapple Express'. It wasn't just funny, it was CONSISTENTLY funny from start to end. I remember it being pretty fast paced without any real lulls in the laughter.

It sounds like YH is inconsistent with sporadic moments here and there that are genuinely funny. Sounds like a matinee or a rental, unfortunately.

I felt the exact opposite about PE. It has some great moments, then long stretches of fucking dulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

Strangely, it took me a while to get into Step Brothers as I think I was suffering from Ferrellitis at the time.

But now I find that it's a lollercoaster.
