Well, being an avowed Catwoman fan, I can say that she's got a mighty big litterbox to fill, after Julie Newmar, and (I mean this sincerely) Michelle Pfieffer. But I think she can pull it off.

I honestly think Anne Hathaway is a hell of a lot more versatile than people give her credit for, i.e. "Rachel Getting Married", and also the end of "Brokeback Mountain" when she was on the phone with Heath Ledger - that scene alone should have earned her a supporting actress nod, and it was totally overlooked for what it was. She's been cast as Judy Garland, who wasn't all Dorothy and rainbows - if they're faithful to Garland's life, that's some dark shit she's going to have to go to.
